SIMMPLY UNITED
Empowering Refugees Through Sport and Support
POWERED BY FAIRSHOT

Simmply United is dedicated to supporting the mental well-being of refugees through sports and workshops, offering a lifeline to those who often face significant challenges in their new environments. Refugees frequently endure trauma, loss, and displacement, leaving them with high levels of stress, anxiety, and isolation. Upon arrival in a new country, they often lack access to mental health support or opportunities to connect with others in meaningful ways.
Our programs are designed to address these challenges by providing safe, welcoming spaces where refugees can participate in team sports, fitness activities, and tailored workshops. These activities foster a sense of belonging, improve mental resilience, and build social connections that are vital for emotional recovery and integration.
Through Simmply United, we aim to bridge the gap in mental health support, helping refugees rebuild their lives with confidence, hope, and a renewed sense of purpose. Our approach combines the therapeutic power of physical activity with community-building to create a brighter future for those who need it most.
Who is Fairshot?
Fair Shot is partnering with major clubs across England to grow a football movement uniting fans all over the country towards a goal of fairness and compassion for all.
As fans, we may come from all walks of life but we all share a passion for the beautiful game. We are a community brought together by every triumph and near miss, by the emotion we attach to every wonder goal, fingertip save, last-ditch tackle and last-gasp winner.
Fair Shot FC are a squad united by their passion for football, who are all refugees and people seeking asylum from Afghanistan, El Salvador, Honduras, Mexico, Namibia, Senegal, Sudan, Sri Lanka, Syria and The Gambia. They make up what is not just a squad, but a footballing community highlighting the universal language of the beautiful game and its ability to transcend borders and backgrounds.
Together, we are all Fair Shot.
