BOXSMART

Building Strength, Confidence & Positive Futures

At Changing Lives Community Services, we believe in the power of sport to transform lives. Our BoxSmart program, funded by the Active Essex Foundation, provides young people with the fundamentals of boxing in a structured, supportive, and inclusive environment. But BoxSmart is about more than just learning how to throw a punch—it’s about discipline, confidence, mental wellbeing, and creating positive pathways for the future.

Through expert coaching, mentoring, and fitness training, we help young people develop physical and mental resilience, guiding them away from negative influences and towards a healthier, more positive lifestyle.

What We Offer

🥊 Boxing Fundamentals & Fitness
Young people learn the basics of boxing, including footwork, technique, coordination, and fitness training. With professional coaching, they develop discipline, strength, and agility while improving their overall health.

🧠 Mental Wellbeing & Resilience
Boxing isn’t just about physical strength—it’s about mental toughness too. Our program helps young people build self-confidence, stress management skills, and emotional resilience, equipping them to handle life’s challenges both inside and outside the ring.

🤝 Mentoring & Positive Role Models
We provide structured mentoring and guidance, ensuring that every young person has positive role models to look up to. Our sessions promote respect, self-control, and decision-making skills, helping them make better choices in their daily lives.

🚀 Creating Positive Pathways
BoxSmart is about opening doors to new opportunities. Whether through further training, employment pathways, or simply leading a healthier lifestyle, we empower young people to build a brighter future by giving them the skills and confidence to succeed.
